Virginia Pelissero

Virginia Pelissero is a PhD candidate at the University of Turin in Technologies for Cultural Heritage. Her research focuses on Neo-Assyrian monumental architecture and the reconstruction of urban landscapes through the integration of digital technologies, historical sources, and material culture. She has taken part in several archaeological expeditions in Iraq and is currently a member of the Italian Expedition at Seleucia on the Tigris (UniTo - CRAST). She is also involved in the NiLTAP project (Nimrud Lower Town Archaeological Project, University of Udine) and is engaged in public archaeology through educational workshops for school students.
