Roberta Menegazzi is doctor of Archaeology of the Ancient Near East. She is specialized in the study of the cultural interrelations between Mesopotamia and the Eastern Mediterranean in Seleucid and Parthian times, and she has published the corpus of the terracotta figurines from Seleucia on the Tigris.
She is director of the archaeological expedition at Karakorum (Mongolia) and member of the editorial board of the journal Mesopotamia.
For the Centro Scavi Torino, she has taken part in campaigns of recording and excavations expeditions in Turkmenistan, Iraq and Jordan.
