Enrico Foietta

Enrico Foietta is a researcher in Archaeology of Pre-Islamic Central Asia at the Department of Historical Studies of the University of Turin. His research focuses on urban planning, territorial organization, and architecture during the Seleucid and Parthian periods. He participates as a specialist in numerous archaeological missions in Iraq, including those at Seleucia-on-the-Tigris and Ashur, and collaborates with national and international institutions, such as the Iraq Museum, on projects devoted to the research, preservation, and dissemination of archaeological heritage, with particular emphasis on the site of Hatra. He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Parthica.
