Workshop “ACQUA, FUOCO E FARINA. Processi di Panificazione tra etnoarcheologia e cultura materiale”

The Centro Ricerche Archeologiche e Scavi di Torino participates in the workshop organized by the Central Institute for Archaeology (ICA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Special Superintendent of Rome and the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica. The conference focuses on the use of cereal flours in antiquity from an archaeological and ethnographic perspective. The members of CRAST present two speeches entitled: “Cibo e bevande per la corte arsacide. Alcune riflessioni sui prodotti descritti negli ostraka di periodo partico rinvenuti a Nisa Vecchia (Turkmenistan)” and “Uso e commercio del sale nella Babilonia seleucide”.
