Third International Conference for Research and Protection on the Archaeological Heritage of Iraq (ICRPAHI)

The University of Kufa and its partners (University of Bologna, Koç University and Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research) will host the Third Conference for Research and Protection on the Archaeological Heritage of Iraq (ICRPAHI, 26-27 February 2022) focused on the main topics related to the Ancient Near Eastern archaeology and the preservation of the Iraqi heritage. The team of the Italian archaeological expedition at Tūlūl al-Baqarat will participate with two speeches: “The archaeological area of Tūlūl al-Baqarat (Wasit, Iraq). A summary report on the 2013-2021 field seasons” (Professor C. Lippolis, director of the expedition) and “Archaeological investigations at Tūlūl al-Baqarat, Mound 7. Preliminary data from the 2021 field season” (Dr. Eleonora Quirico).
