ArTourBagh – Archaeological heritage and sustainable cultural Tourism in Baghdad

Crast is a partner of the “ArTourBag Project. Archaeological heritage and sustainable cultural tourism in Baghdad” promoted by the University of Bologna with the University of Catania, AVSI and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in Iraq. This is a 3-year Italian project that aims to promote sustainable development of cultural tourism in Baghdad and, more generally, in Iraq.

The aim of the initiative is to protect and enhance the rich artistic, historical and archaeological heritage of Baghdad and Iraq by creating a sustainable itinerary for cultural tourism in ancient Mesopotamia, thus contributing to the economic and social revival of the territories involved.
