Opening of the didactic room for children at the Iraq Museum of Baghdad
On the 14th of January 2020, the didactic room for children has been inaugurated at the Iraq Museum of Baghdad. The project has been supported by the European Union and represents one of the goals of the EDUU Project (Education and Cultural Heritage Enhancement for Social Cohesion in Iraq), coordinated by the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in collaboration with the Centro Ricerche e Scavi of Turin, the University of Turin, the Iraq Museum and the State Board of Antiquities and Heritage of Iraq. The didactic room is equipped with a video station (for which a cartoon on the importance of the Iraqi cultural heritage preservation was created) and with games and educational maps.
