This journal, founded by Antonio Invernizzi, aims to highlight and study aspects of intercultural relations between East and West in the ancient world. The name of the journal is derived from the Parthic people, as their empire was at the centre of a unitary geographical area and historical period, despite the many cultural aspects and historical trends. The journal is published by Isituti Editoriali e Poligrafici Internazionali. An index of the articles published so far may be consulted on the journal’s web site.
